Mikey's Story: Virtual Studio Art Internship
This is Mikey!
During the last year of his studies at Earlham College, Mikey decided to join the ArtBound Initiative program to gain more experience. He would then land a virtual studio art internship at Maria Burgaz, an independent art studio.
Please describe your daily routine during your Studio Art Internship!
Each day, I gather all the information about Maria's work and compile it into a list sorted by theme. Then, I would upload the works to various sites and add them to a portfolio. In addition, the environment of the internship was overall very nice and calm.

How enjoyable was this experience?
My internship did meet my expectations!
The most enjoyable part of my internship experience was to see the behind-the-scenes parts of uploading or selling work. I also really enjoyed everyone I worked with through ArtBound Initiative. I'm glad that I got the opportunity to talk to so many people!

How did ArtBound Initiative help you during your internship?
ArtBound Initiative helped me the most in learning how to market myself in a professional and effective way.
