TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS

PROGRAM TUITION

1. LOCAL PROGRAM: USD $2250*
For US students, recent graduates, international students, and recent graduates on an F1 Visa.

2. INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM: USD $3250*
For students and recent graduates located outside the US.
*Internships longer than 3 months require an additional fee of USD $300/month.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Choice of payment options as follows:

  • PAY IN 30:
    > 25% deposit
    > Remaining balance after 30 days

  • PAY IN INSTALLMENTS:
    > 25% deposit
    > 3 separate installments*

*Incurs additional 5.8% service fee

SCHOLARSHIPS

ArtBound Initiative provides scholarships up to $1000 USD for outstanding applicants. Visit our scholarship page for more info.

    Additional fee $175/month if you rent the room for less than 5 months.

  • Security deposit: One month rent (will be refunded after your stay)

HOUSING FAQ

Q: Will my roommates be from the ABI program?

A: We try to pair participants for housing but it is dependent on timing and availability.

 

Q: Will I have to pay security deposit?
A: Yes.

Q: Is housing included in the program fee?

A: No.

We work with housing partners that offer fully-furnished rooms in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

VISA DETAILS

For the international program, you will need to obtain a J-1 Visa.

J-1 VISA FEES

  • Processing Fee: USD $1435
    (USD $240 SEVIS Fee included)

ADDITIONAL FEES

  • US Consulate fee - USD $160

  • Health insurance fee - USD $50/month

  • Visa extension for 3 months or less: $550 USD + $50 USD/additional month

  • Visa extension for over 3 months: $845 USD + $50 USD/additional month
