TUITION & GRANTS

PROGRAM TUITION

1. LOCAL PROGRAM: USD $2250*
For US students, recent graduates, international students, and recent graduates on an F1 Visa.

2. INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM: USD $3250*
For students and recent graduates located outside the US.
*Internships longer than 3 months require an additional fee of USD $300/month.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Choice of payment options as follows:

  • PAY IN 30:
    > 25% deposit
    > Remaining balance after 30 days

  • PAY IN INSTALLMENTS:
    > 25% deposit
    > 3 separate installments*

*Incurs additional 5.8% service fee

GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS

ArtBound Initiative offers financial needs based grants from USD $500 - $2250 for qualifying applicants of our local and virtual programs.

 

We also provide a database of scholarships and university-specific funding for applicants. More information can be found on our grants and scholarships page.

We work with third-party housing providers to offer fully furnished rooms in

Los Angeles. Your application and approval will be subject to their terms and conditions, and our team will support you throughout this process.

  • Private rooms start from USD $1500-1800/month* depending on location
    *Price includes utilities (electricity, gas, water and high-speed wi-fi)

  • Security deposit: One month rent (will be refunded after your stay)

  • Transportation: The best way to get around Los Angeles is by car. You might want to consider renting or getting a car to make commute accessible and convenient.

HOUSING FAQ

Q: How does housing approval work?

A: We work with third-party housing providers. Because of this, your application and approval will follow their internal process and terms. Our team will support you along the way, but the final decision rests with the provider.

Q: Will my roommates be from the ABI program?

A: We try to pair participants for housing but it is dependent on timing and availability.

 

Q: Will I have to pay security deposit?
A: Yes.

Q: Is housing included in the program fee?

A: No.

VISA DETAILS

For the international program, you will need to obtain a J-1 Visa.

J-1 VISA FEES

  • Processing Fee: USD $1535
    (USD $240 SEVIS Fee included)

ADDITIONAL FEES

  • US Consulate fee - USD $185

  • US Visa Issuance fee - USD $215

  • Health insurance fee - USD $65/month (subject to change for US citizens who are non-residents)

  • Visa extension for 3 months or less: $600 USD + $55 USD/additional month

  • Visa extension for over 3 months: $895 USD + $55 USD/additional month
