Savannah's Story: Design Internship in New York
This is Savannah!
Savannah studied at Parsons for her Masters Degree in Fine Arts. With the passion of Arts, she decided to join the ArtBound Initiative program and successfully secured an internship with NYCxDESIGN, a non-profit organization that nurtures, supports, and provides opportunities for NYC’s design sector.
Could you describe what your day-to-day & the environment looks like as an intern for NYC x Design?
During my internship, my main responsibilities included attending social weekly meetings, compiling images and footage for Instagram, as well as attending events to capture video and photo for our socials.

What was your favorite part about your internship?
My favorite part of the internship has got to be that I got to network and meet the awesome artists that were featured!
Did your internship meet your expectations and how will it impact your career goals?
This internship will help further my long-term career goals in understanding how to host an event at such a large scale, such as in New York City!
