How would you describe your day-to-day at All We Remember?
Most of my work was done remotely, but every Thursday I would head to the All We Remember studio to work alongside the team on tasks and projects for the week. Each week, I was responsible for creating 2–3 assets for current or upcoming social media posts, as well as projects for future events, such as designing flyers at least a month in advance. I was also in charge of behind-the-scenes photography and videography, capturing the clothing-making process, shoots, and more whenever we were in the studio.
I was so grateful to have such an amazing experience with my internship. Being part of a small team meant we quickly got to know each other, and I felt welcomed with open arms. We could talk about everything from serious topics like politics to the silliness of celebrating my 21st birthday! It really felt like a little family. I learned something from every person on the team, whether it was career advice to help me get ahead or simply lessons about life.

In what way will this internship help your career?
I was able to meet a range of different people, from my supervisors to a celebrity stylist and a blog owner, all of whom I’m excited to now have in my network. Being able to add legitimate industry experience to my resume will definitely help with future job opportunities. This experience also gave me more clarity about what I want to do in the future. Seeing how I could merge what I’ve learned in school with my passion for fashion was really exciting.
What aspect of your internship was most rewarding?
Seeing my work posted on their social media was so exciting! This was the first time I had my work highlighted outside of school or my personal portfolio, so it was amazing to see my work being recognised and shared with a wider audience.

In what way did ArtBound Initiative helped you the most?
ArtBound Initiative gave me so much reassurance when it came to my resume and portfolio. Realistically, most people are on their own, just hoping their resume and portfolio are good enough. Having ArtBound guide me on what needed to be done gave me a lot of reassurance and took away a lot of the anxiety and stress—not only around getting my internship, but also about my future career.
