Tell us more about your role during your Social Media Internship!
My social media internship was with an artist management agency called Print and Contact. They are responsible for representing artists and connecting them with clients. Their responsibility is to identify suitable companies with whom their photographer, filmmaker, or stylist can collaborate.
During my time working with them, my primary responsibilities involved conducting research to identify potential companies for their artists to collaborate with, organizing and archiving artists' work, managing social media, and creating various GIFs for decks.
Photographers Emily Soto & Kayla Varley's works - both represented by Print & Contact
Through this internship, I have gained valuable insight into the expectations and workload of professional artists, as well as guidance on self-promotion & interactions with companies. It has also allowed me to develop essential skills required for my career as an artist.
