Mariana's Story: Content Production Internship in London
Meet Mariana!
Mariana is a graduate of Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) in Honduras. In Fall 2025, she joined ArtBound Initiative and secured a Content Production internship with B. The Communications Agency, a London-based creative communications agency working across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and culture.

How would you describe your day-to-day at b. the agency?
Do weekly social media trend digest, community management, video production and editing, photography production and editing, social media reports, etc.
It’s a great place to gain very diverse experience, since they work with such a wide variety of clients. That makes the work, and the learning, so much more enriching.
It’s a good place to get very different assets in terms of they work with different variety of clients and that makes it more enriching when working and learning with them
It's a great place to gain diverse experience, from social media and community management to video, photography, and reporting, while learning across a wide variety of clients.
Has your internship met your expectations?
Yes, it definitely met my expectations. I was able to work across a variety of clients and projects, which helped me understand how a real agency operates on a day-to-day basis. It strengthened my skills in content production, social media, shoot planning, and quick creative problem-solving. I feel much more confident now stepping into future roles in creative agencies or production teams, and it gave me a clearer idea of the areas I want to pursue long-term.
In what way did ArtBound Initiative helped you the most?
ArtBound Initiative helped me the most by opening the door to an opportunity I wouldn’t have accessed on my own. Their guidance throughout the placement process made everything smoother and gave me confidence going into my internship.
Overall the support was great. The only area where I feel there could be a bit more guidance is the arriving to London, I didn’t feel like there were many events for other ArtBound alumns, but other than that, communication was always smooth and helpful.
ArtBound Initiative opened the door to an opportunity I wouldn't have accessed on my own, and their guidance made the placement process feel smooth and reassuring.
