This is Eden!
Having graduated from Western University, Eden brought her background in Media and Communications Studies and Digital Communications to New York City in Fall 2025, where she joined 100 Sutton Studios as an Event & Studio Management intern. During her internship, she gained practical experience in studio coordination and event operations, working within a vibrant creative hub that hosts productions, brand activations, and industry events.
Read more of her stories below.

Could you describe what your day-to-day looks like at 100 Sutton Studios?
Communicate with clients/leads via email and networking platforms, create social media content, particularly for Instagram, research clients/leads, and reach out for collaboration opportunities, take and edit photos for events at the venue, and assist the event manager with her tasks throughout the day!

What was the most rewarding aspect of your internship?
I was very pleased to learn new tools and platforms that will be very useful as I progress in my career. For example, I was able to assist with our Google Ads and Analytics and join meetings with our Google Ads representative. I learned a lot about managing a company's analytics, which is an extremely valuable asset that I can now confidently put on my resume! Furthermore, I explored other new platforms like Linkinbio and Mailchimp, which is also great experience to have.
Has your internship met your expectation?
Going into my internship, I was uncertain of my expectations. Being an event space, I was unsure if my role would be more so in the planning of the events or the management of the venue. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with my role as I got to experience both aspects! I feel more knowledgeable in what goes into event planning, which I have already found to be useful as my career progresses.
Furthermore, I learned so much about what it takes to run a business. I felt I got to see and experience a wide range of aspects through my internship and I am extremely happy that it turned out this way.

How would you describe the way ArtBound Initiative helped you the most?
ABI helped me build the confidence I needed as I began my career. I truly believe it was the perfect post-graduate transition. Finishing school can be intimidating, especially with the uncertainty that follows, but ABI provided the preparation and reassurance I needed to confidently move forward and pursue job opportunities. Alicha (my program coordinator) was particularly helpful and kind, and I want to give her a big shoutout!
