How would you describe your day-to-day at Foxhole Creative?

I get to the Foxhole office at 10:00 AM, I check in with my supervisor multiple times throughout the day and he gives me tasks. I don't really have a fixed schedule, what I do can vary from day to day. I can be doing edits to the Foxhole website, help organize items in the warehouse for a brand activation, help my supervisor plan an activation, it really just depends on the day. Last Tuesday for example. I got to the office, first task I had for the day was to design raffle tickets for a game that would be hosted for an activation for Simply Spiked Lemonade.

Once that was done I shadowed a meeting for a different activation with multiple beverage brands. I had my lunch after that meeting, then I had a meeting with Andy on the progress of my internship and my experience. I also got feedback as an intern and he asked for feedback as well, very productive conversation. After that meeting I worked on some more projects including designing a rule sheet for the game that would accompany the raffle tickets. I also worked on a recap sheet for a previous activation that essentially highlights the success of the activation, statistics, and feedback. I finished my work around 5, which is when my day ends and I head home.

What was the environment and general atmosphere like?

It was a small company so I would typically see 2-3 people each day. While our jobs were typically very individual and independent from each other, there was still involvement and interaction with one another. It was a very casual but professional environment.

In what way did ArtBound Initiative helped you the most?

I think ArtBound did a great job at exposing me to the technicalities and hard truths about entering the creative professional field. While I may not feel 100% prepared to face everything, I think ArtBound did a good job and giving me a kickstart for my career and teaching me what to expect and how to approach obstacles. Additionally just the networking aspect is impeccable. I've met so many cool people and I am excited to meet more.

ArtBound gave me a strong kickstart to my career by showing me what to expect in the creative industry and how to approach challenges. The networking has also been incredible, and I’ve met so many great people along the way
