Could you describe what your day-to-day looks like at Edits Etc.?
I begin each morning with a quick online check-in with my manager, where we plan the day’s priorities. Most of the time, I work mainly with Premiere Pro and After Effects, which I’ve been using extensively since I started the internship. I would definitely say that Edits Etc. is a unique, collaborative space made up of talented freelancers who push me to do my very best at work.
My main responsibilities include:
Designing social media posts and project case studies,
Creating engaging content about post-production,
Developing sketches and concept art for various projects.

Also, one of my favorite parts of the week is our “Thursday Lunch,” when the team gathers online to chat over lunch. It’s a small tradition that makes our virtual office feel connected, and something I never expected from a remote internship.
In what ways has this internship influenced your career?
The space I’m given to be creative, contribute ideas, and be taken into consideration, even in areas I’m still learning, made me feel very valued and part of a respectful environment. Although being fully online was challenging for me as someone who loves face-to-face interaction, this experience continues to surprise me in ways I never expected. This internship also showed me that I can pursue new paths, like video editing, a skill I developed during this experience.
I’ve learned things I never imagined I would, and this internship reaffirmed my goal of becoming a creative director.

How would you describe the way ArtBound Initiative helped you the most?
I found the training from ArtBound Initiative extremely valuable because it was so professional and well structured, starting from the help I received in creating my resume, to the support from my supervisors, and the practical hacks and techniques I learned along the way. It helped me build the foundation I needed to step confidently into a creative environment.
Thanks to ArtBound, I now feel well prepared to apply for jobs, update my resume and portfolio, and continue developing my creative career
