TOMA
graduated with first degree honors from University of The Arts London majoring in Design for Branded Spaces in 2020. She then continued with a certification in Visual Merchandising and Display.
In 2021, Toma interned at Kit and Caboodle in London as a Designer - which later she landed a full-time position there!
My internship was at Kit and Caboodle, a leading creative experiential events agency based in London, UK. I was working remotely for the time being but had the opportunity to travel to London to meet the team first hand, which felt natural as we are all used to seeing each other multiple times a day via e-meetings, and the team itself was very welcoming from the start.
Regarding tasks and responsibilities, each day was different. There were of course some tasks I would do on repeat, such as creating mood board, design visuals, research, reaching out to suppliers or concept development but mostly, you could expect something new each day which was challenging at times but I loved it - such great opportunity to learn something new and improve your skill set in various areas.

I believe this internship will have a significant impact on my career as during this time, I have grown as a designer, as well as a person.
From professional perspective, it was a remarkable experience and deepened my knowledge of the industry and how most prestigious projects are being carried from start to finish.
From a personal lens, this internship boosted my confidence and most importantly, taught me about genuine dedication and love for the work you do, all whilst fostering team spirit and always having fun. Furthermore, I was offered a Junior Designer position which is no doubt an important step towards my career goals.
