ABI Profile: June
is a recent graduate from Pratt Institute where she was majoring in Graphic Design. June is one of the Creative Diversity Scholarship recipients for Summer 2021 internship. She did an internship in New York at Code and Theory and she has landed a full time role with the company after she finished her internship.
"At my internship, I was a visual design intern for Code and Theory, a digital-first agency located in World Trade Center, NYC. At Code and Theory, my work was primarily focused on Product Designing for different clients ranging from finance, editorial to cosmetics. Being a visual designer at Code honed my skills in UI designing, and understanding the workflow between Interaction experience designers, strategists, producers, and copywriters."

"The internship opened up a world of outstanding designers and thinkers, and I was able to collaborate and connect with so many wonderful individuals. Not only was I able to develop my skills in UIUX, but got to witness the work and thought process of so many creative individuals. Working at Code enabled me to shift from a student mindset to a professional one in the most seamless and enjoyable way possible."
"Artbound prepped me with the in’s and out’s of how agencies/ the professional world operates, so it wasn’t a major shock when I entered as an intern. I was provided the resources and knowledge to navigate different situations, especially regarding direct communication with my co-workers. Throughout the internship, Artbound continued to support me with personal check-in’s and introduced me to other creatives who are in a similar stage as me."
