Claire
studied at Media & Communications at University of Sydney. Claire then landed an internship at Public House Studios (formerly Wasamedia), an agency based in Sydney.
At PHS, I worked as a Social Media Intern. Most of the time, I assisted the account managers on day-to-day tasks in Public Relations.
My tasks involved: Researching potential influencers, Content scheduling on Instagram & Facebook, and once in a while I got the chance to write for some social media captions and email content.

Working at PHS was a fantastic experience. It introduced me to the real-life PR world, which is more than the textbook content. It highly enhanced my writing skills and showed me the pace and challenges in this industry, making me more prepared and determined to be a PR petitioner in the future.

On top of my internship, ABI's coaching process was very helpful, especially as an International student who knows so little about the creative industry in Australia. Prior to the internship, I had no relevant experience in the PR Industry. But after my coaching sessions, I learned on how to navigate the workplace. My program coordinators, Zulfa and Ginda were always there to help me answer questions by giving me practical advice.
Our CEO, Laura is also incredible in guiding me, caring about every little detail, and gave specific feedback on my portfolio. Most importantly, the team was very professional and offered me helpful tips and strategies to excel in my interviews.
The ABI Team was really helpful throughout my internship. This experience also prepared me for my future job in the creative industry.
