ABI Alumni Updates: Emma
EMMA
is a previous participant of the ABI program who interned Summer 2017 in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Foundation (HOCA).
We are proud to announce that she will be working as an assistant curator at the Hudson Valley MOCA in New York!
Emma is currently working on her MFA in curation at Goldsmiths, University of London. Before leaving for London, ABI connected her with Marc Straus Gallery in NYC where she worked as a gallery assistant. She will be moving back to New York temporarily, where she will assist in curation for an upcoming show at the Hudson Valley MOCA.

"I will be working at the Hudson Valley MOCA under the direction of the two curators for their upcoming sculpture show, "How We Live". I will be the assistant curator on the exhibition and will also be the main point person at the museum during my time there. I will also be choosing new pieces from the collection to go into the exhibition and will write one of the catalogue essays. Before I leave for New York, I will assist the Marc Straus team at Masterpiece Art Fair here in London at the end of June."
