Sheridan's Story: Graphic Design Internship in Sydney
This is Sheridan!
Sheridan is a graduate of RMIT majoring in Game Design. Through the ArtBound Initiative program, Sheridan landed a Graphic Designer Internship at Apostle Digital, a video marketing solution agency.
Can you describe more about your Graphic Design Internship with Apostle Digital!
I was placed at APOSTLE DIGITAL, a post-production studio that works on films for all sorts of media and has worked with the likes of Ubisoft, Amy Shark, and more.
My main tasks as a graphic design internship included searching for references to add to a mood board, creating concepts for the project I was assigned, and creating banners for marketing. APOSTLE was amazing in giving me insights into the industry and even shared some of their templates with me to show how they work efficiently.
How do you think your Graphic Design internship will impact you?
My internship definitely gave a boost to my confidence in the field as well as started me off with a few connections in the industry. It also helped me realize that I do enjoy what I have chosen and that this is definitely the career I want to pursue.

What did ABI did to help you with the most?
ArtBound Initiative has helped me in so many ways. My resume before joining was really bland and after going through my resume they have made it so much better. Even the coaching was fantastic, and having guidance from top industry professionals was a huge bonus too. They were all so lovely to work with and very considerate as I was going through some hardships at the time my internship started. They took care of me and offered to contact my supervisors on my behalf if needed.
