Guy's Story: Script Development Internship in New York
This is Guy!
Guy is a graduate of JMC Academy with a Bachelor's in Creative Arts. After finishing his bachelor's degree, he joined the ArtBound Initiative program and landed a script development internship at Braven Films, an independent production company that particularly handles international projects that are often inspired by true events.
Describe your daily tasks during Script Development Internship!
Some of my daily tasks during my development internship include script coverage, creating or editing pitch materials, doing some project research, admin for the company (phone calls, emails, scheduling), and finance management.

Describe the work environment you work in!
During my script development internship, the environment and atmosphere were extremely fast-paced and initiative reliant. The creative Executive and Assistant were extremely friendly and helpful, a group of young hardworking people who have very high expectations.
What did ArtBound Initiative help you with the most?
Through the coaching prior to the internship with resume and portfolio guidance I was able to step into my internship with confidence. Their consistent check-ups and monitoring were appreciated and allowed me to effectively reflect on my progress and performance throughout the 3 months.
