Abby's Story: Production Internship in New York
This is Abby!
Abby is a student majoring in Business Administration at Flagler College in Florida. Later on, she joined the ArtBound Initiative program and secured a spot for a production internship at Navia Vision, located in New York!
Tell us more about your Production Internship!
I was placed as a Production Intern with Navia Vision, a boutique production company specializing in photo & video production, runway shows, events and post-production.
A few of my tasks included outreach to studios, makeup artists, stylists, photographers, etc.; handling paperwork such as call sheets, NDA’s, model release contracts, invoices, and the like; building creative decks for clients, assisting on photoshoot sets, and handling production equipment.

How did ArtBound Initiative support you through your internship?
ArtBound Initiative helped me most by connecting me to an industry professional to review my resume and portfolio and preparing me for the interview process by reviewing my answers with me prior to my first interview.
This internship with Navia has given me invaluable access to professionals in my preferred industry as well as technical skills and knowledge in production, fashion, and event planning.
