ABI Alumni Updates: Ryan

RYAN

is a previous participant of the ArtBound Initiative program who interned in Berlin for John Miller Studio. He is a practicing independent artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ryan recently launched an independent publishing press and bookstore, in Cincinnati, alongside two of his friends. Midwestern Press is curated specifically to showcase the relationships between poetry, graffiti, art, and theory.

"We curate our selection of books much like an art gallery. We think of books as theories, or ideas, that are radiating for and against one another in multitudes of different ways. We present our selection in relationship to one another, to open new relationships."
